Trails
The trails we use are always easy to moderate and the hiker controls the length of the walk. Below are several trails we are navigating and their locations.

Hawaii and California
We left another Hawiian blessing vessel at the Makaha Beach Park, one of the more popular beach parks on the west side of the Oahu. The hiking is along the beach, and most of those who enjoy the walk, also get into the water periodically along the way.
Kaʻena Point is located at the westernmost tip of Oʻahu. The hike is moderate, but lengthy, so bring lots of water. The point is designated as a Natural Area Reserve filled with birds, and the views are beautiful.
You don't have to actually enter the park to enjoy trails all around this beautiful monument. A vessel containing a Hawiian blessing was left on steps connecting trails outside the park. You are able to enjoy these without reservations and it's easy to walk them all.
A carved Fisherman vessel was placed along the Big Sky Trail on April 5th. The Big Sky Trail is approximately four miles long. It is a loop, and relatively easy to hike. The trail is near Simi Valley, California, and meanders through lovely views, often including wildflowers and wildlife. Hopefully someone will discover the blessing and report their find!
A carved vessel containing an Irish blessing was left at Pililaau Army Recreation Center located on Po'Kai Bay in Waianae, Hawaii to honor St. Patrick for the final day in March. It was placed in a stairway along the Bay walkway.
Ko Olina Beach Park boasts a 1- and 1/2-mile trail in Kapolei, Oahu, near the Disney Resort. It's easy to hike, taking about an hour and a half to finish. It's a great trail for birding, running, and walking, as well as occasional siting on provided benches to look out on the gorgeous lagoon. We placed a carved Vessel containing a Hawiian blessing along the route. Good luck to the discoverer!
We've left several Blessings in Bottles at Pililaau Army Recreation Center located on Po'Kai Bay in Waianae, Hawaii. One is a fisherman blessing, and two others contain Hawaiian blessings. They are all found in areas along the Bay walkway.
