Birch Bay, Washington
"The Berm" is a beautiful walkway that runs along the bay. The project restores the natural shoreline, protects the roadway from storm damage, and supports pedestrian safety with a separated berm that runs from the mouth of Terrell Creek (Lora Lane) to Cedar Avenue approximately 1.58 miles in length along the beach. A fishing vessel is located on a picnic table along the walkway.
White Rock, B.C. and Northwest Washington
An Irish vessel is located on a picnic table alongside White Rock’s promenade. The walkway runs almost the entire length of the beach and provides lots of ways to get to the beach and other attractions. Take your time and stroll from one East beach to West beach and enjoy the beautiful ocean scenery. The 470-metre-long White Rock Pier is a major attraction and is a destination filled with shops and restaurants.

Northwest Washington and Salem, Massachusetts
A fisherman vessel is located along the pathway of Whitehorn Marine Reserve Park. It is a wonderful place to visit and features 54 acres of forest, bluff and beach, with an ADA accessible trail to amazing views of the Strait of Georgia and San Juan Islands. A switchback path descends from the bluff to access the windswept beach below. It is a great family hike and relatively easy to navigate.
An Irish vessel is located in Salem, Massachusetts on a rock seating area along the Salem Heritage Trail. The trail meanders through over 400 years of Salem history. The themes of the trail bridge connections from the land’s earliest settlement to the Salem we see today with focuses on local Indigenous Peoples, Colonial Salem and the Witch Trials, the Age of Sail, Industrial Heritage, Abolitionism and African American Stories, Immigrant Experiences, Religious Diversity, and Contemporary Salem. It is definitely worth visiting.
A Native American vessel is located on a bench at the Peace Arch State Park. This park provides a fabulous view of Point Roberts and Vancouver Island, and the Bay linking them. Strolling through the gardens provides views of the Peace Arch connecting the American and Canadian border. It is a perfect time to visit the Peace Portal Park because everything is blooming. It displays a gorgeous mix of flowering shrubs and other plants that thrive in the Northwest Washington climate.

Northwest Washington, Phoenix, Arizona and Tortola, BVI
The walk along the Bay in Birch Bay, Washington is gorgeous, and so we placed one of the Native American vessels along the broad pathway named for Bessie and Otto Vogt. People were already strolling, jogging or biking along the path by the time we arrived, so we stealthily placed it without being caught. Hopefully someone will appreciate discovering it while enjoying this lovely walk.
Birch Bay State Park is filled with trails, but we chose the one leading up to the campsites that begins at the showers and restrooms located along Birch Bay Drive to place one of our blessing bottles. The trail is used by hikers and bicyclers and, like all those we choose, is beautiful and easy to navigate. Have fun!
The Peace Arch State Park is located at the border between the United States and Canada. It is a gorgeous place and from the summit where the main trail begins leading down to the Peace Arch the views are stunning.. We chose this trail for one of our Native American blessing vessels. Enjoy this wonderful place accessible to hikers of all levels.
Whatcom Falls Park is the location of one of our Irish blessing vessels. The trail is simply lovely to hike, and culminates in a gorgeous waterfall that swimmers may use when the weather permits. Enjoy this lovely hike through the forest.
Eastwing Mountain Trail is a 1.5 mile loop near Peoria, Arizona, a suburb of Phoenix. That is where the next vessel can be found. The spring desert colors are glorious and the hiking weather is marvelous this time of year. Enjoy the loop!
Sage Mountain National Park in Tortola, BVI is the next vessel placement. The space is beautiful and the sweeping views are absolutely magnificent. The path is narrow, but rather easy to navigate and the vessel is easy to find. Have fun and keep hiking.
