Birch Bay, Washington
Birch Bay, Washington is a wonderful area attracting many visitors, particularly in the summer months. However, the walking trails along the Bay are consistently frequented by local residents who enjoy the beautiful views of the ocean and surrounding snowcapped mountains. We left an Irish blessing along the pathway and look forward to hearing from the person who finds it.

Oahu, Hawaii
Pililaau Army Recreation Center, located right along Po'Kai Bay is so beautiful that we left another hei-malau, or fishhook vessel containing the Hawaiian blessing at the top of a stairway access to Po'Kai Bay, but on the other end of the pathway. The paved walkway all along the bay provides gorgeous views and ocean breezes that are worth revisiting. We may even leave another behind before we're finished in Oahu!

The easy hiking trails available at the Patsy T. Mink Oahu Regional Park are perfect for family walks. The park also contains more rigorous hikes with trails that gain in elevation as you walk.
